The Andy Schlinder and Kevin Brown Duo
Saxophonist Andy Schlinder and fretless guitarist Kevin Brown have a strong musical connection from their extensive experiences performing together in the jazz fusion group Mosaik. They have performed together at many places throughout Chicago including the Green Mill and the Jazz Showcase. In a duo setting they perform a variety of standard jazz repertoire as well original compositions. Andy Schlinder plays locally with a variety of groups including Origin of Animal and he has toured internationally with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Kevin Brown is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and has performed with such musicians as Phil Woods, Jeff Hamilton and Jimmy Greene among others.
